The church blessed church staff and volunteers with a Christmas gift this year. On behalf of each recipient, I thank you for your thoughtfulness. In addition to the pastor, the congregation honored the work of Diana Smith in the nursery, Donnell Hewett and Connie Cashen (music program,) Vijay Vellabati (student ministry,) Harley Coleman (youth,) Julie Tanner (children,) and Larry Delp (church treasurer, building and grounds.) May God bless you richly for your generosity.

The SingSpiration for December was outstanding. Scott Petit and Michael Hollers returned for a visit and participated in the event. UBC regulars honored God with songs, readings and instrumentation.

Check out the Events page for pictures of our Missions Fair. Great food, information and a party atmosphere greeted all participants. The people's choice was Mexico. France, China, India and Israel were other nations represented.

Beginning Sunday, January 13th, University Baptist Church will be in REVIVAL. Reverend Jerry Barker, FBC Falfurrias, will lead the congregation in a RETURN TO JOY in Christ. The meeting swill occur at 10:45 AM and 6 PM on Sunday and then 7 PM on Monday - Wednesday evenings. Please be in prayer for our spiritual renewal. If you're in town, please drop by for our services.
